Untill this afternoon my niece got the seizure again, and doctor said it was probably kind of West Syndrome / infantile spams. And tomorrow we will take her to do another EEG to make sure about her brain. When i search about this west syndrome, i saw Evan's site, and i'm so happy that Evan now can growing normal and healthy. I'm really sad about what happen to my niece, and still keep searching, hope there is a way or cure for this kind of sick. Thank you for your time.. xxx

Hi, my name is Neti and i live in Indonesia, Bali exactly. I got one niece was born on Feb 22nd 2013, she's 6 months now. She got her first seizure on may 31 2013 and we brought her to the hospital directly and that time we got different kind of diagnosis about the seizure, after doctor gave her medicine that for her seizure, i decided to took her to the better hospital in Singapore, and doctor in Singapore said my niece got lissenchephaly / smooth brain. There is no cure for the brain juat like doctor said, we just need to give her medicine to press the seizure. And it works, since first of june she didn't got the seizure anymore, but her development very slow, doctor said because the seizure and because the lissencephaly will cause to the development.

My son just turned 7 months. A month ago when he experience his first seizure. after maybe 2 weeks he had it again it lasted for a minute or two im not really sure. The third was this morning. Im not actually sure if they are seizures. im terrified as i read that if a person had it for more than 2 he/she has epilepsy. :'( i hope he does'nt have it. Me and my hubby are just 28 y/o nad he is our firstborn. Im happy to see that your child is getting better each day. God is Good. I'll have my son see a doctor tomorrow. Thank you for your time and also for inspiring people all over the world.

Thank you for all the informations. Doctors thought for a while that it was it. Now, 6 months later we know that she is safe. From some strange reasons, her spasms were idiopatic and just stopped as they starter. After futher investigations our little girl dont't have it.

I wish to you and all your family the best of luck. Take care.

Mathieu

Thank you so much for sharing your story. My son has gone through one brain surgery at UCLA to remove a small growth. His seizures are not controlled by 4 medications at this time and we are possible considering a second surgery. Toughest descisions I ever have to make. Evan looks amazing. Wishing your family many blessings.

Hello, This site in encouraging to me. My son had intractible infantile spasms starting at 3 weeks old. Qhen he was two months he had the hemispherectomy. He has been developing normally every since and has not had even one seizure since. He was also having. Tonic clonic seizures. He had up to 100 an hour before surgery. PRAISE GOD!
